SISKO
David F. Siskovic (Sisko) was born in Cleveland, Ohio, USA. Sisko purchased his
first keyboard, a Korg Poly 800, at age 12 marking the start of his
'electronica' odyssey. He has played in several bands ranging from rock to jazz
to electronic.
He attended Wittenberg University (Springfield, Ohio) for his undergraduate
studies in Business and Political Science. He attended New York University for
his graduate studies in Music and Music Technology. At NYU he studied sound
synthesis, acoustics, cognition & artificial intelligence, digital signal
theory and tonemeister recording technology.
For three years, ending in May 1998, Sisko was one part of an electronic duo
called Soundvision (with Storm Lee Gardner) which played several clubs in New
York City including Squeezebox, Life, Carbon & Arlene Grocery.
Sisko's full length musical recordings finished include Min Max, Antiqua Sub
Via, Replicant Sound Objects 1: Experimental and Replicant Sound Objects 2:
Environments. All are available and can be auditioned at his website on the
Products page. In addition to this, Min Max has been distributed to over 500
commercial and college radio stations around the US and Canada.
Currently he works and lives in New York City.
